We take seriously the trust our customers place in us to provide them and their families with access to affordable food and essentials, especially in times of uncertainty. That’s why we have increased our focus on keeping our stores clean and stocked. That’s why we took the step to discontinue food samplings – to avoid the spread of germs. And that’s why our supplier, AWG, is working hard to ensure that the food, sanitary items and cleaning supplies we all need are reaching our stores as routinely as possible. We are fortunate to have a supplier closer to home and based in Norfolk, Nebraska.

My sister Jane and I, along with our 1,100 associate owners, would like to share some of the steps our stores are taking to ensure you have a safe shopping experience. We have placed priority on increased sanitation efforts especially in our high traffic areas such as check stands, restrooms, cooler and freezer door handles, and associate break rooms. We are following the guidance of health experts, such as the CDC and local health authorities, in responding to the virus.

Additionally, if you have used Instacart to shop our stores, you should know that Instacart now provides you with the option to choose to have your order left outside with their new “Leave at My Door Delivery” option, providing you with additional peace of mind.
