Founded in 1964 by Russ Raybould and Clayton Burnett, our grocery chain has grown from a small neighborhood store and continues to be a family owned company serving many towns and neighborhoods dedicated to providing quality products and exceptional service.

Our History

Russ’s Market began its journey in May 1964, when our founders acquired a small grocery store located at 17th and Washington Streets in Lincoln. Over the years, our commitment to excellence and community service has allowed us to expand, and today, we proudly operate multiple locations, including stores in Nebraska and Iowa. As part of B&R Stores, Inc., we are honored to continue the legacy of our founders while adapting to the ever-changing needs of our customers.
